this class was pointed out to me and I thought some of you might be interested in it. Linda Smith took this class last year. By the end of the class, you will have made a Canoe Paddle.

This is a 3-session class starting on January 25th. Could be fun.

Join us as you learn to make your own fully functional canoe paddle
from scratch. Learn how early settlers and Native Americans used canoes
and about the different styles of paddle. Then choose a style and
carve a paddle to fit you. Tools and materials provided. This is a threepart

Program registration begins Friday, December 11, 2009. Register by
