BP at 2' Monday 1-25-10

I know that this is a late post. I thought for the record that everyone should know that you can whitewater kayak in freezing cold water in 25 degree weather. Josh and I decided to kayak the BP on Monday at the beginning of the most recent snow storm. The water was cold, the log on river right is still blocking the best surf wave near the entrance, and Rocky Fjord was at a great level. Nice holes for Indiana. Note to self and other paddlers... rolling in freezing cold water sucks and gives instantaneous ice cream headaches. Despite the weather, the paddling was great, probably due to the fact that I was with a great friend.
